Meet Director Dave Adlard would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2009 Great West Gym Fest. Thanks to the parents for supporting their wonderful child athletes in this, the most challenging sport in the world.

Thanks to the organizing committee who work so hard to add more “nice” touches to this competition than any other you will attend this season.

And thanks to the athletes, especially those crazy Canadians who must try to change their routines around to compete under J.O. rules.

GWGF 2009 Absolutely final, permanent, Tentative Session Assignments

Some absolutely, positively, almost final notes for GWGF 2009…

Three weeks to go… we’re getting very excited to see you all! Here are a few notes as we near the deadlines…

> A new, final, positively tentative schedule/session assignment sheet is available — Session Assignments version 3 (PDF) — which means we hope the errors are down to single digits… We won’t be changing gyms days/sessions any longer, except on a specific, individual basis, and we will contact you prior to any changes.

> There are a very few tickets left to the athlete’s party and dance on Saturday… email us at funnflip@msn.com to order your tickets!

> Our first Parent’s Pow Wow soup lunch with an Olympian has 10 spots left… for only $12, get a bowl of soup, and get to ask questions of an Olympic medalist and a guest coach! Saturday, 1:00—2:15 p.m.! Email funnflip@msn.com to order your tickets!

> There are a few tickets left for SUNDAY’S “Hang with the Olympians” Ice Cream Social, which will be held in Beverley’s, the Resort’s signature restaurant, Sunday, 10:45—12:15! Don’t miss it! Email funnflip@msn.com to order yours! Only $10!

> Speaking of tickets, we have not received payment for Ice Cream Social and Dance party tickets from several people. If we don’t have payment by Feb 10, you will lose your tickets, and they will go to people on the waiting list!

> The deadline for Slide Show and Program ads has been extended to Feb 6! Please contact us if you would like to have your favorite athlete’s highlighted in our beautiful program or “in-gym” slide show!

> We have a few spots left for teams to practice on Thursday. Coaches, please email Dave at funnflip@msn.com to schedule a workout for your athletes!

> Tickets… parents, the Big Show and Weekend Passes are almost sold out… and I’m not joking! Please don’t be left out from watching finals, especially if your athletes qualify!! Contact Ticketswest.com to order! The deadline for all phone and online tickets will be Feb 10, after which you will have to purchase your tickets at the door, provided there are any left.
