One of the world’s best located resorts was UNDER CONSTRUCTION during Gym Fest. Congratulations to all volunteers for making it work, anyway.
That construction should have been finished in time for the competition. It wasn’t. And we apologize for any inconvenience.
… It’s difficult to stay angry, however, when you see the killer lake views from the hotel.
The rooms are terrific too. Here are some of the Level 10s getting ready for BIG SHOW.
I’ve got to say that we have perhaps the greatest meet crew in the world!
Our chairs and volunteers have truly taken ownership of their departments at GymFest, and their attention to detail is amazing! It is the special touches – the handcarved wooden bear trophies, the awards to every athlete on every event, the great decore, the live band, the smoke and lights for march in for every session, the back ground music, the sold out Big Show event finals, the giant video screens, the great Destira leos every athlete receives, the coach’s party, the fantastic venue, the Midnight Dance party, the “Hang with the Olympians” Ice cream social boat cruise, the Olympians that are in the gym all day and present every session of awards, the super fast format… the list keeps rolling.
We might not be the biggest meet in the world, but though I’m a bit biased, if there is a better one for the kids and parents and coaches, I don’t know it. THANK YOU SO MUCH to the amazing people who made the 2012 GWGF such a huge success! So many folks have commented that this was their favorite meet ever. Bless you!

We were thrilled to see her HIT Bars with a rocking piked Jaeger in her final home meet. She’ll will be competing College next year.
